Mint (Saranae)
Mint leaves have dark green colour, rough surface and the size varies from 0.5 - 2 cm. in diameter. They have a strong odour and are slightly hot. Only the leaves are used as flavouring and garnishing in salads e.g. Calamari Salad - Yam Plamug, Shrimp Salad - Pla Kung.
